UI/UX Designer
About this role
Designing user interfaces for a super-app used by millions of people in Southeast Asia requires balancing usability, visual clarity, and local market understanding. This role at Grab Myanmar creates the digital experiences that connect drivers, merchants, and consumers.
You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for mobile and web interfaces, conduct user research to validate design decisions, collaborate closely with product managers and engineers on feature delivery, maintain design system consistency, and iterate based on usability testing and data feedback. Strong portfolio work is expected.
A bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is required, along with proven proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. You should understand mobile-first design principles, have experience translating user research into design improvements, and be able to articulate design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.
Grab is one of Southeast Asia's most prominent technology companies, and its Myanmar operation handles design challenges specific to a rapidly evolving digital market. UI/UX designers here work on products with massive user bases, gaining experience at a scale that is difficult to achieve at smaller companies. Annual salary increments are tied to performance.
