Senior Stock Controller

About this role

Role overview Oversee inventory management for Sal Pyar Company's electronic products warehouse in North Dagon. This senior role ensures stock accuracy, minimizes losses from theft or damage, and provides management with reliable inventory data for purchasing and sales decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and enforce inventory control procedures including receiving, put-away, picking, and stock transfer protocols
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts, investigating and reconciling any discrepancies
• Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving stock, overstock situations, and potential shrinkage
• Coordinate with purchasing on reorder points and with sales on stock availability for customer orders
• Manage the stock control team, providing training on procedures and accuracy standards
• Prepare inventory reports including stock valuation, turnover rates, and variance analysis

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in stock control or warehouse inventory management, preferably in electronics retail
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
• Deep understanding of inventory control methodologies including FIFO, cycle counting, and ABC analysis
• Leadership skills to manage and motivate a stock control team
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
