Sales Rep
About this role
Sales Representatives at Myanmar IndoBest drive revenue by selling the company's consumer goods to retail outlets and customers in the Tamwe area and surrounding territories. This field-based role involves daily customer visits, relationship management, and order collection for a consumer goods and retail business that competes for shelf space and customer loyalty in a crowded market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned retail accounts on a daily route to take orders and check product availability on shelves
- Build and maintain relationships with store owners and shop assistants to secure favorable shelf placement
- Introduce new products, promotional offers, and pricing changes to customers during field visits
- Monitor competitor activity including pricing, promotions, and new product launches in the territory
- Collect outstanding payments and manage customer account balances within assigned territory
- Report daily visit summaries, order volumes, and market observations to the sales supervisor
Requirements:
- Experience in FMCG sales, consumer goods distribution, or retail field sales
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to persuade and build trust with retail shop owners
- Familiarity with the Tamwe area and surrounding neighborhoods is preferred
- Basic numeracy for calculating orders, discounts, and payment collections
- Self-discipline to follow a route plan and complete all scheduled visits daily
