Quantity Surveyor
About this role
Controlling costs on construction projects from initial estimates through to final accounts is the core function of this role. Delight Amatat needs precise quantity surveying to ensure projects in Thingangyun and beyond are financially viable and properly documented.
You will prepare bills of quantities, conduct site measurements, evaluate subcontractor quotations, track project costs against budgets, and handle variation orders and interim payment assessments. Accuracy in measurement and clarity in cost reporting are the daily priorities.
This mid-level role requires formal training or a degree in quantity surveying, along with practical experience on construction sites. You should be thorough with measurement standards, comfortable reading architectural and structural drawings, and able to negotiate with contractors on cost matters. Analytical precision is essential.
