Role overview Lead the purchasing function for Sal Pyar Company's electronic products retail business in North Dagon. This mid-level role is responsible for sourcing the right products at competitive prices, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that inventory levels match customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop purchasing plans based on sales trends, seasonal demand, and promotional calendars for electronic products
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Approve purchase orders and authorize payments within delegated authority limits
• Monitor supplier performance on delivery reliability, product quality, and pricing consistency
• Coordinate with the sales and warehouse teams to prevent both stockouts and overstock situations
• Manage the purchasing staff, providing guidance on processes and professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in electronics, FMCG, or retail
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Analytical ability to interpret sales data and forecast purchasing needs
• Experience managing a small purchasing team
