About this role

The O2O (Online-to-Offline) role at Makro Myanmar sits at the intersection of digital ordering and physical store fulfillment. As Makro builds capabilities for customers to browse and order products online before picking up at the store or receiving delivery, this position ensures the handoff between digital orders and warehouse execution is seamless. The role operates across Mingalar Taung Nyunt and Insein locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor incoming online orders and route them to the appropriate warehouse picking teams for fulfillment
  • Coordinate order assembly, quality checking, and staging for customer pickup or delivery dispatch
  • Manage the pickup counter where customers arrive to collect their online orders
  • Track order fulfillment times and resolve delays or issues that arise during the picking and packing process
  • Update system statuses accurately so customers receive real-time notifications about their orders
  • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to shorten fulfillment cycle times

Requirements:

  • Experience in order fulfillment, e-commerce operations, or warehouse coordination
  • Comfortable using order management systems and mobile devices for order tracking
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple simultaneous orders in various stages of completion
  • Problem-solving ability to handle order discrepancies, substitutions, and customer inquiries on the spot
  • Physical capability to assist with order staging and verification during peak periods
