About this role
The Non Buying department at Makro Myanmar handles a range of operational functions that support the wholesale store without directly involving product purchasing decisions. Based in Mingalar Taung Nyunt, this role manages processes related to non-merchandise operations including store services, membership administration, and coordination tasks that keep the wholesale format functioning smoothly for business customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage non-merchandise store services including membership registration, card issuance, and account maintenance
- Coordinate store logistics that fall outside the buying and inventory functions such as equipment and supply ordering
- Handle administrative processes for inter-departmental coordination and management reporting
- Support store opening and closing procedures from a non-merchandise operational perspective
- Maintain records and documentation for non-buying activities and ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Assist with special projects and operational improvements as directed by store management
Requirements:
- Experience in retail or wholesale store operations, administration, or office management
- Organizational skills to manage multiple non-related operational streams simultaneously
- Proficiency in office software and basic data management tools
- Strong written and verbal communication for coordinating across departments
- Adaptability to handle varied tasks that do not fall into a single functional category
