Data Collector (Meikhtila)
About this role
The Data Collector position based in Meikhtila supports NielsenIQ Myanmar's retail measurement operations in the central region of the country. This entry-level field role visits retail stores in Meikhtila to record shelf-level product data that contributes to national market share and sales tracking reports. Candidates must be based in Meikhtila or willing to relocate there.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled store visits within Meikhtila to collect product and pricing data from retail shelves
- Record information accurately using NielsenIQ's prescribed data capture methodology and tools
- Track which products are available, their prices, and how prominently they are displayed
- Submit completed data within required timeframes to ensure timely processing
- Communicate with the field supervisor about any challenges accessing stores or collecting complete data
- Protect the confidentiality of all collected information and store-level findings
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be based in Meikhtila or willing to relocate to Meikhtila
- No prior experience required, though familiarity with retail environments is helpful
- Careful and methodical approach to recording information without errors or omissions
- Comfortable using a smartphone for data entry and basic photography
