About this role
Role overview Maintain and optimize the computer network infrastructure that supports Shopee Myanmar's e-commerce platform operations in Yangon. This role ensures high network availability, security, and performance for a platform that handles significant daily transaction volumes.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization measures
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and minimize downtime for the local office and operations teams
- Implement network security policies including access control lists, VPN configurations, and intrusion prevention
- Manage IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP infrastructure
- Coordinate with the regional IT team on network upgrades, capacity planning, and security incident response
Requirements
- CCNA certification or equivalent hands-on network administration experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Networking
- Minimum 2 years of experience in network administration, preferably in an e-commerce, tech, or enterprise environment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VPN, and network security fundamentals
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies
What success looks like The local network operates with high availability and low latency, security incidents are prevented or resolved quickly, and the e-commerce operations team never faces network-related disruptions.

Skills
