About this role
The Treasury Executive at Makro Myanmar in Mingalar Taung Nyunt handles daily cash management, banking operations, and financial reconciliation for Makro's wholesale business across Yangon branches. You manage relationships with local banking partners, process fund transfers for supplier payments and branch operations, and ensure accurate cash flow reporting to finance leadership. Responsibilities include monitoring daily cash positions, preparing bank reconciliation statements, supporting month-end closing activities, and maintaining compliance with internal financial controls. This role provides deep exposure to corporate treasury operations in a multinational retail environment, with opportunities to develop expertise in cash forecasting, liquidity management, and banking negotiations. Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking operations, preferably in retail, FMCG, or multinational settings. Proficiency in Excel for cash flow modeling and financial reporting; familiarity with ERP or accounting systems is advantageous. Knowledge of Myanmar banking procedures, payment systems, and regulatory requirements. Strong attention to detail for accurate reconciliation and reporting. ACCA, CPA, or equivalent finance qualification in progress is preferred. Candidates must be based in Yangon and available for occasional weekend support during month-end closing or audit cycles.
