The role requires a friendly, patient demeanor, comfort speaking Myanmar language with diverse customers, and ability to learn Makro's product range quickly. Salary is MMK 3.2 lakhs monthly for full-time hours. This position provides foundational exposure to modern retail operations in Myanmar, with clear pathways to advance into sales coordination, team lead, or customer experience specialist roles for high performers.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; prior customer-facing experience is a plus but not mandatory. Must possess strong verbal communication skills in Myanmar language, basic English comprehension for product labels, and comfort using POS terminals or handheld scanners. Candidates should demonstrate patience, problem-solving ability, and a service-oriented mindset when handling member inquiries or minor complaints. Physical ability to stand for full shifts and occasionally assist with light stock handling is required. Preference given to applicants residing in Mingalar Taung Nyunt, Mayangone, or adjacent Yangon townships for schedule reliability.
