About this role

Providing fundamental support to the kitchen staff is essential for the smooth execution of food service in a high-volume hospitality operation. The Kitchen Helper at Innopex Company in Tamwe handles the critical prep work and sanitation tasks that allow chefs to focus on cooking and plating.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients according to the prep list provided by the chef
• Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils throughout the shift
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, sanitize work surfaces, and empty trash bins regularly to meet health standards
• Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries by organizing items in walk-in coolers and dry storage areas
• Transfer food supplies and equipment between storage areas and the cooking stations as needed
• Adhere strictly to all personal hygiene and food safety protocols

Requirements:

• No formal educational requirements, though a basic understanding of kitchen hygiene is preferred
• Physical stamina and strength to stand for long periods and lift heavy pots or supply crates
• Willingness to work in a hot, fast-paced, and demanding environment
• Punctual, reliable, and capable of following instructions from senior kitchen staff
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
