Junior Web Developer

About this role

Role overview Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications for Samsung Myanmar's local digital platforms. This entry-level role works under senior developers to build and update web properties that support Samsung's consumer electronics marketing and service operations in Myanmar.

Key responsibilities

• Write front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement web page designs and user interfaces
• Assist in developing web features using frameworks such as React or Vue.js as directed by senior developers
• Test web applications across different browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness
• Fix bugs and implement minor design changes on existing web pages
• Participate in code reviews and learn from senior developers' feedback
• Document code and assist in maintaining technical documentation for web projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework
• Understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional development team
• Portfolio or sample projects demonstrating web development skills

What success looks like Web pages are built accurately to design specifications, bugs are resolved promptly, and the junior developer progressively takes on more complex tasks.
