Junior Accountant
About this role
Sun Myat Tun is a local business hiring junior finance staff to support its accounting operations. The company requires candidates who can handle daily financial recording accurately.
You will record daily sales and expense transactions in the general ledger and process employee payroll inputs while verifying statutory deductions. You are expected to prepare monthly trial balances for review by the senior accountant and assist in document filing and tax record preparation. You will also prepare monthly withholding tax remittance forms accurately for timely submission to the Internal Revenue Department.
Required skills include general ledger entry, payroll deduction verification, trial balance preparation, and withholding tax remittance form preparation for IRD submission.
Handling full-cycle daily bookkeeping builds the foundation for a mid-level Accountant role.
