About this role

Role overview Support the accounting department at Shwe Chan Company, a trading firm in Kamaryut, by handling routine bookkeeping and financial data entry. This entry-level role provides practical accounting experience in a commercial trading environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily transactions in the accounting system including sales, purchases, and expense entries
• Assist in preparing bank reconciliation statements
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable records, following up on overdue invoices
• File and organize financial documents including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
• Assist senior accountants during month-end closing activities
• Help prepare basic financial reports as directed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Eager to learn and develop accounting skills in a trading business context

What success looks like Transactions are recorded accurately and on time, supporting documents are well-organized, and senior accountants can rely on the data you prepare for their reporting.
