About this role
Role overview Oversee all business operations for Pacific Dragon International Services, a trading company based in Mayangone, Yangon. As General Manager, you are responsible for setting strategic direction, managing cross-departmental performance, and ensuring the company meets its commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's annual business plan, revenue targets, and operational budgets
- Lead and manage department heads across trading, logistics, finance, and administration
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, buyers, and business partners
- Monitor financial performance, cash flow, and profitability, taking corrective action where needed
- Ensure compliance with Myanmar's trade regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance requirements
- Represent the company in negotiations, industry events, and stakeholder meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of progressive management experience in trading, logistics, or a related commercial sector
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L responsibilities
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
- Fluency in English and Myanmar; additional language skills are an advantage
