Field Officer
About this role
Delivering project activities directly to communities in Magway is the essence of this role. Community Aid Myanmar runs programs that address local needs, and field officers are the link between organizational plans and the people those plans are meant to serve.
You will conduct community assessments, facilitate group activities, distribute program resources, collect beneficiary feedback, and document field observations for reporting. Regular travel within the Magway region is required, and you will coordinate closely with the project coordinator to ensure activities align with program objectives.
A bachelor's degree in Community Development or a related field and at least one year of field experience in a development context are required. You should be comfortable working in rural settings, interacting with diverse community members, and adapting to shifting conditions. Cultural sensitivity and patience are essential.
Community Aid Myanmar provides accommodation and travel support for field visits as well as life insurance coverage. For someone committed to development work, this role offers direct, tangible impact on communities, which is something office-based roles in larger organizations rarely provide.
