About this role

Leading the entire culinary operation for the company's hospitality division requires a blend of creative menu design, staff management, and strict cost control. The Executive Chef at Innopex Company is responsible for everything that leaves the kitchen, ensuring that food quality, presentation, and safety align with the expectations of the company's hospitality guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and update menus that balance culinary creativity with cost-effectiveness and customer preferences
  • Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and timely service delivery
  • Manage kitchen staff by scheduling shifts, assigning duties, conducting training, and evaluating performance
  • Control food costs by monitoring inventory, minimizing waste, negotiating with suppliers, and adjusting portion sizes
  • Ensure strict compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house management team to ensure smooth service and address customer feedback

Requirements:

  • Extensive professional experience as an executive chef, head chef, or sous chef in established hotels or restaurants
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse kitchen brigade
  • Deep knowledge of culinary techniques, international cuisines, and current food industry trends
  • Proven ability to manage food costing, budgeting, and kitchen profitability
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under high-pressure conditions

Requirements

2+ years of relevant experience, Good communication skills in Myanmar and English, Computer literacy, Strong work ethic and reliability
