About this role
Data Entry operators at Makro Myanmar are responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining the transactional data that keeps wholesale operations running. Based at the Mingalar Taung Nyunt location, this role handles high volumes of product information, sales records, pricing updates, and inventory adjustments that feed into the company's central systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter product data including descriptions, prices, barcodes, and shelf locations into the inventory management system
- Process sales orders, returns, and adjustments accurately and within required timeframes
- Update supplier information, purchase order details, and receiving records
- Verify data accuracy by cross-referencing physical documents against system entries
- Maintain organized filing of source documents for audit and reconciliation purposes
- Flag data entry errors or system issues to the supervisory team promptly
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in IT or office administration are a plus
- Proven typing speed and accuracy with prior data entry experience in an office or warehouse setting
- Familiarity with spreadsheet applications and basic database navigation
- Ability to maintain concentration and accuracy during extended data entry sessions
- Responsible approach to handling confidential business and customer information
