Chief Accountant
About this role
TOMO is a growing FMCG company in Myanmar. The finance department requires a senior leader to oversee accounting operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
You will oversee the entire accounting function including financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. You must review and approve journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy of the general ledger while mentoring junior accounting staff and coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities.
Required skills include month-end close management, internal control framework establishment, and external audit coordination.
The Chief Accountant at an expanding FMCG firm is the standard pathway to Finance Manager.
