The Assistant Accountant at KBZ Life Insurance in Bahan helps process the high volume of transactions generated by premium collections, policy payouts, and agent commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily accounts payable and receivable entries, ensuring all premium and claim transactions are recorded accurately
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial closings, trial balances, and reconciliation statements
  • Reconcile bank statements against the company's accounting records to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized physical and digital archives of financial vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents
  • Support the senior accounting team in preparing regulatory reports required by the insurance supervisory body
  • Handle routine tax computations and assist with annual tax filing preparations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Basic understanding of insurance accounting principles, though comprehensive training will be provided
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with computerized accounting systems
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry
  • Responsible and trustworthy approach to handling financial information
